To make the most of a visit to Mauritius and discover its amazing marine wildlife, the Bay Hotel organises snorkelling trips to île aux Bénitiers with a local operator. The small island on the southern-west coast is only 10 min away from the hotel by boat.

Half and full day excursions are available with optional chicken, fish and lobster barbecue and dolphin watching if you are lucky.

Snorkelling is also possible in the crystal clear water of La Preneuse's lagoon right in front of the hotel. Snorkelling kits are available for rental at the reception desk.
